Deacon Kelvin Johnson

    Deacon Kelvin Johnson is the Youth President of the Inspirational Church of God Youth Ministry.  Our current pastor, Leroy G. Carroll, Jr. served as past Youth Pastor for 10 years under the leadership of our Founder, The Late Pastor Johnny W. Johnson, Sr.  Pastor Carroll has always had a heart for the Youth.  He considered himself "a man with many children".  However, God has called Pastor Carroll to a higher calling...pastor!

            Now that Deacon Johnson has picked up the torch, he has been doing a superb job with our Youth Ministry.  Deacon Johnson is the youngest son of our Founder.  He serves as one of our Deacons here at The Inspirational Church of God.  He works along-side with his brothers and Sister here at ICOG, which is a Life-time Family Church.  His oldest Brother is the President of ICOG.  He has another brother, Minister Steven Johnson, who serves as Minister of Music here at ICOG.  His sister, Sharon Johnson, who is over the Media Ministry.

         Deacon Johnson is a patient and gifted Youth Minister.  He continues to keep our youth motivated and involved in different surrounding events.  Our Youth Ministry is one of the larger ministries at our church. Our youth are involved in many spiritual provoking ministries.  We have so many talented Youth here at ICOG.  We have Bro. Taye who raps, we have Sis. Zana & Sis. Casey who loves to lead the Youth Choir, we have Bro. Peter who enjoys the Praise Team and about 50 more youth who enjoys being a part of such a growing ministry.

      Different Ministries: Praise Dance, Praise Team, Skits, Plays, Choir, Rap, StepTeam, etc.  The youth meets every Monday night at 6:30pm for Spiritual lessons, practices, and encouragement from our Youth Directors.  The main purpose of the Youth Ministry is to teach, impart, and develop our youth in the character and likeness of Jesus Christ.  We want to our Youth to live up to the statues of God's Word.  Therefore, Deacon Johnson engages our youth in activities that will promote HOLINESS.  He select songs for the choir what will proclaim the "JESUS IN US". 

         The Inspirational Church of God truly bless God for Deacon Kelvin Johnson and the time he gives to our Youth.  We have many youth that are determined to live upright before God.  We also have youth that have made big mistakes.  However, every youth deserves to be recovered, forgiven, and restored!  We are here to RESTORE our Youth!
